Sailing on Snettisham Lake
Snettisham Beach Sailing Club invites you and your family to join us for an opportunity to sail with a member, see the club’s boats, and experience the clubhouse facilities – be prepared to get wet, eat and drink!
From 11am till 3pm on Saturday, 5 June 2010 all are welcome to check out what goes on at Snettisham Sailing Club. Vice-Commodore, Guy Playford said: “The club promotes the incredible sport of sailing – a great way of keeping fit, meeting new people and a fantastic way to getting next to nature. Above all sailing is FUN and there is no other sensation like gliding across the water with the wind in your hair!”
Snettisham Sailing Club offers training on both sea and an enclosed lake so it is able to cater for all levels of sailing so why not give it a try. Don’t forget to check out what’s on offer in the Heacham Summer Activities programme during July and August which should be published in mid-July – some of the activties can include sailing and kayaking on the lake at Snettisham.
