A hugely successful event was held in 2009 in memory of two loyal Heacham players who sadly are no longer with us, Philip Wright and Ernie Maiden. A similar event is being held again this year on Sunday 22nd August 2010 and all are very welcome to attend. The Veterans Team playing the Heacham Cricket Team will start at 2pm, in a forty overs match. Any Veteran players who feel like turning back the years to play for the Veterans please contact: Chris (Tel: 01485 572262) or Andy (Tel: 01485 572873). Malcolm Diggins was privileged to play alongside both Philip and Ernie and hopes to attend and report on the event. Much as he would like to, he does not feel up to playing!!
