Tourist Information in and around Heacham, Norfolk

ATMS Cash point machines are available at The Local, Co-op Supermarket, Tesco Express (some outlets may make a charge for using this facility)

BANKS There are no actual bank branches in Heacham.  The nearest banks are the Nat West and Barclays in Hunstanton.  You will also find Nationwide Building Society in Hunstanton. 

The Post Office also offers banking services for the following banks:   ALLIANCE & LEICESTER, NATIONWIDE, BARCLAYS, LLOYDS TSB, THE CO-OPERATIVE BANK, SMILE, CAHOOT

CAR PARKING

Parking prices in force from 1 April 2010 - please contact Tourist Office to confirm
Parking in the village is free but can be difficult at peak times, especially in the High Street & near shops in Station Road. 

Rover Holiday Pass  £17.60 Valid on Heacham and Hunstanton Council run car parks and King’s Lynn long-term car parks only. Only to be issued to Holiday Makers. Valid for 1 week.

Hunstanton OAP Resident  £24.20 Valid on all car parks including Central for 12 months.  Utility bill, OAP status and vehicle registration document required.

6 Monthly  £130.00 Not valid on Central car park

12 Monthly  £193.00 Not valid on Central car park

Watersport  £99.00 Valid only on North Prom and Cliff car parks for 12 months

Heacham Resident £31.30 Valid from 01 March – 31 Oct on North & South Beach.  Utility bill required confirming residency (for administration purposes only).  NB: Being over 60 will qualify you for an OAP residents permit for Heacham, these permits are valid on Heacham North & South beach car parks. To obtain one of these permits you will need to provide proof of age, utility bill confirming residency & vehicle registration document confirming ownership of vehicle.

Heacham Non-Resident  £61.60

OAP Resident  £23.10 Utility bill required confirming residency (for administration purposes only).  Vehicle registration document required confirming owner of vehicle (for administration purposes only).  

Beach Hut Resident  £26.40

DOGS Currently no restrictions for dogs on Heacham Beach

EARLY CLOSING Heacham: Thursday is early closing in Heacham.  Some shops also close on Saturday afternoons.

HEACHAM BEACH Boats can be launched from the North Beach but RHY Certificates and Public Liability Insurance required.
