Hunstanton RNLI volunteer crew were alerted twice during the evening of 27th May. Firstly, to assist in the search for a missing person. However, the missing person was found at home in Lincoln and the crew were stood down as they were not required.
Later that evening the volunteer crew were alerted again and the Hovercraft was launched to search the beach area at Brancaster for a vulnerable 21 year old female. She was subsequently found by the police walking along the main road at Brancaster and the Hovercraft was stood down and returned to the Boathouse just before midnight.
